Making Hydrosols and Essential Oils, June 1

$85.00

Join us on the farm this summer to make fragrant essential oils and hydrosols! With Herbalist Marie-Lies of Fleur and Forage, we’ll use a copper still to distill freshly harvested Mountain Mint grown on the farm. She’ll present the many uses of hydrosol, the water portion of a distillation. Each student will receive an info booklet with recipes curated by Marie-Lies, as well as a 15mL spritzer with the hydrosol made in class. You will also have the opportunity to purchase larger sizes of the hydrosol. Distillation is a centuries-old art and a blissfully fragrant way to spend an afternoon.
